St.Michael’s Mount

Some early sketchbook work for my AI project. Playing with shape and texture.

A very short stop-motion film for my Visual Studies project on ‘Motion’. When I uploaded this yesterday I forgot to change the viewing settings to public. I was very tired!

Roughs for Gluttony and Greed from my ‘Seven Deadly Sins’ map project. The final 3D piece didn’t work and I didn’t have the time to finish it as I wanted. I’m hoping to go back and re-work it in my own time.

A couple of prints for the theme ‘Light & Dark’.

 Rhiannon Barnes
1 of 2 pretend editorial illustrations I finished for my A Level exam. It was for a New Scientist article called ‘Mass Extinctions’, explaining ‘what triggers wipeouts of life, how life recovers, and asks if we are in the middle of a mass extinction of our own making’.
It’s an old one, but I’ve only just realised that it was blogged on ‘eatsleepanddraw’.

Beginning of an etching that I printed earlier. I need to etch into the plate a little more and try some aquatint tones next week. Not quite sure where this is going but it’s so much fun learning a new technique.
